    Almost done for now.

I need to get this thing on the boat so I can stop using my livewell as a cooler...

I have decided to do a temp top on this for now and will make an insulated top when I get a caught up on everything else that needs to be done. The reason the temp lid is recessed so much is to allow enough room for the thicker insulated one. There is a factory lid that goes over the whole thing so nobody will really see it unless they are going for a drink. I know... I know.... I should finish it now..... but I'm going on a trip next week and I want to use the damn thing.

All I still need to do is give it one more wet sanding and then a good compounding and waxing. After I get that done I am going to install the cooler and foam the outside for insulation.

Thanks for all the help everybody...

I will post some more pics when it is installed on the boat.

You might have a career in fiberglass

    Looks great. Really nice job

Sorry I missed the earlier questions - I guess it was probably temp or that area was a little thinner and didn't set as fast...

You can always sand it out and reapply - fiberglass is almost as forgiving as wood...

Well I finally installed it on the boat over the weekend...

The drain is hooked up and working like a charm....

The insulated lid I will get to at a later date. Now we can use the livewell again.

Thanks again for all the help guys
