on furuno navnet1 the unit comes with the rdp131 and the 1850 wdf what are the advantages of hooking them together.other then the gps nema data. and if you did what colors on the nema cable would you use the manual shows a number of diff. configurations and starts getting confusing. hoping for an electronics wizard out there for there professional opinion.alresdy talked to furuno just lookin for other opinions

rugman, I would not hook them together. I would keep the navnet1 as the GPS and the 1850 as your primary Fish Finder and a back up GPS.

i would like to keep the 1850 for the plotter and the rd131 as radar and use the chart overlay i still have the 582l as my primary ff thanks

rugman, That would work great. I have the 1650D on my Whaler as the GPS and the 1850 as the primary on the Ricky for the GPS. Both are great units and very dependable...
