I knew who you were, but was willing to overlook it, as I'm just in this game to have fun. There's no money in it, so I could give a crap whether I ever sell another jig.

Now being a member of the community here, THAT I care about. If folks want to advertise for shared trips in Hatteras or wherever in the other thread, they can and will be able to do that without retribution as long as I'm posting.

If vendors want to be a part of the community, that's very cool to. I know I bend over backwards for the guys here. I only expect what I give.

I'm also glad things worked out the way they did.

And if there are charters out there....I have sponsorships available. But sales alone aren't what makes me tick. Know that now.

Navionics, just like most in this buisness care about one thing and that is themselves.

OVERLOOK IT????? You sought me out!!!! Dispite the bad press, I still grossed and netted more money this season than I ever have. .

Riptide, are you a SFC.com advertiser? If you are I apologize, in advance.
If not, did Sportfishermen.com have anything to do with your banner year?? You were quick to defend Navionics, who in my opinion is Spamming. I've been advertising on SFC since I met John Eppehimer(ADMIN) because I believe in the site. Off The Hook Bait and Tackle is a small shop, and we have cut our advertising budget over the last year, and sure with SFC's loose policies on advertising, we could have dropped the ad, and kept promoting our business. BUT, I try and run my business with integrity and if I gain customers from SFC, then I should help support the site. Obviously, there are plenty of companies, both big and small that don't feel that way, and thats pathetic! Personally if I am looking to do business with anyone on SFC, the first thing I do is check if they support the site.
