Navionics Card

Just purchaed a Northstar 952X (used). i am wondering what the best navionics car to get is? I will be fishing Stellwagon, and Cape cod bay area, Point Judith, Niantic, and probally crab ledge and so on. I think that this unit uses the Navionics classic charts and i have found the different charts, however it seems that I would need to buy three or possibly four charts. This is OK if that is what is necessary but I would much rather put the extra money in the gas tanks

I have one that will cover CC bay and one for Cape Ann and Suthern Maine.

US827L SOUTHEAST MAINE Blue Hill Bay and Penobscot Bay to Cape Ann.
US828L CAPE COD & APPR Hampton Harbor, NH to Buzzards Bay, MA including Nantucket, Martha's Vinyard and Elizabeth Islands.

If you don't go north of Cape Ann at all, you don't need the US827L

Both work fine.

Getting a new plotter, so I could dish one or both out pretty cheap if you can wait til the new plotter gets here in 1-2 weeks

Oh, BTW if you buy 1 big chart, the detail will not be as good.

[I] had the same problem with my 958 . My one chart gets me 60 miles out then I need to change to the Canyon chip. Price wise there the same as the gold .
