My New Boat

Well, I know you guys have been waiting with baited breath to find out how my boat search went.

Well, I bought one!

Drum Roll Please!

I bought a 32' Blackfin Flybridge! Man, I looked at just almost every 32 footer on the East Coast south of Massachusetts. Looked at some 29's too. Finally found one bright and shiny with new motors and she's just t*ts!

Made a deal to include four Penn International 30's and two International 50's with Penn rods. All in great shape!

I am on happy camper I can tell you. Got to go to the Annapolis Boat show and am currently at the Ft. Lauderdale Boat Show.

I want to thank all of you who have put up with all my questions over the past few weeks.

By the way, my wife and I went to Captains School in Annapolis and it was well worth the effort. We start Riggin' School in South Florida on Monday and can't wait. Both schools are completely "hands on". The classroom is the boat. I recommend them both.

So guys, keep the sunny side up and I'll be talking to you.

Oh yeah. We named the boat Wasabi!

They are 3116's. I know their reputation but these are new blocks and supposedly they won't have the problems the earlie "soft" blocks had. They have 100 hours on them.
