hell yeah!! the yammies are the only way to go! after moving to fla it was one horror story after another about the "black anchors" I also am running the f250b's...which is the new generation 250. all fly by wire controls and rpm syncs! boat is running in the low 60's! I was so concerned about the added weight...but the beefy intrepid transom makes her sit real nice.
if you are in the market for a CC. trust me. buy an older Intrepid and repower her with yammie four strokes...contender what??

I have heard the mercs require 93 octane. Did you find that to be true in your search?

If it is you'll be happy with the yamis as they will eat anything.

Only the 350 Verados require a certain octane and I think it's 91 instead of 93, could be wrong. The 300's and lower take anything.
