Thanks for the information guys. I have over 25 canyon runs on a MAKO 23 with twin Yamaha 115's. I like the cruise speed of the outboards but the fuel economy is nice with the single diesel. The cuddy cabin is nice for me because I have two girls that like to fish. The Bimini new, seems very $$spendy. A very nice rig, though.

This is a complete no brainer to me. If your interests are in the deep, the bimini is the way to go. I have been 90mi off in the 24. caught my first whitey on her years ago. billfish will always eat right off of the transom!!
and team Bill me. you gotta send me a pic of that heli shot. I am almost certain that I am in that photo, if it is from the WMO in 2005!!! that boat ran with the big boys all week long!! evileye---you would be suprised at some of the new cruise speeds that i was recently discussing with the builder ![]() PLUS, you can build that boat to your liking!! Good luck...get the BIMINI.
