This boat was featured either last week or the week before on Boston.com. A bunch of female restaurant owners in the Boston area chartered her for a fishing trip outside of Boston Harbor, and they took a photographer and reporter from the Globe/Boston.com along for the ride. I was wondering what type of boat it was, nice to find out it's a Miller. Saweet lookin' rig.
Wow...that's a beast. One question for ya'll...I've seen the exhaust vented directly out the stern and some out the sides, but never in the corner like that. What are the advantages/disadvantages if any? I’ve heard that out the side makes for a quieter ride, but I’ve never been on a boat equipped with anything different than straight out the back? Again…very nice ride, thanks for sharing!
HarborRd, do you have a link to that article?
Found the link...pretty cool

looks like the 70' model to me, used to work on a 58' they are incredible boats.
I am actually really grateful for this post, because as soon as I saw that article on boston.com I immediately tried to find out what kind of boat it was. Sort of looked like a Merritt with the teak bulkhead and traditional (parallel to the transom) bridge ladder, but couldn't find out because it wasn't registered in the USCG database, maybe due to the Bikini hail port. Looks smaller than the 70', looks more in the 55'-60' range to me. I really like the lines, looks like a Carolina boat just with a bit less bow flare.

It's the 70
Pretty boat, great lines. Looks like a lot of engineering went into that bottom.
