I am looking at a boat with twin 2000 Mercury Optimax 225's on it with around 100hrs. does anyone have any insight to the reliability of these motors? plan is to use them in the pacific northwest. i've heard that bassmaster types have had problem with this year/model motors due to gunning the motors when they start out. what the word guys??? thanks for your help and a big mahalo!!!
