I have 2004 150 opti's. Right now they look brand new and i want to keep them looking good. Is there any type of wax to put on the cowells and decals to maintain them? Or should i buy covers? or both?

I think Admin is going to let me have this space
we have Yama/ Mercs 225's ...
our yamaha 4 stroke stickers and emmision stickers are good... Merc decal is long gone... I think it has to do with the black / hot cowling and the sticker glue... why do ya want merc stickers anyway????...lol did ya know that 90% of all chevy trucks are still onthe road...10% actually make it home... just like mercs

I practice safe fishing
Here is what I did: I got a hair dryer and heated all of the decals ( triple verados ) scraped them off with my thumbnail then put WD-40 on the sticky part to remove all glue then waxed the crap out of them to make them shine. BEAUTIFUL. If Mercury can't make decent decals that last so what, they look great NAKED. Wahoo Too
