    Master Marine Boats???

    Hey Yall,

I found an awesome looking boat by this company, built in '81 that I'd say is in the 25 footish range. It needs a lot of TLC but I need a good project and the thing looks bad ass.
What does everyone know about the company; good, bad, whatever...I want to hear it!

    Thanks,

    Chris

No first hand experience on ride but the same mold are being made today under TRUE WORLD MARINE.

There lines look great. I have been on them at boat shows over the last several years and have been impressed.

I think these are the old moonie tuna boats outta the northshore maybe gloucester? might be a stretched Mako but not sure. supposed to be no frills boats and good. whats the hull deadrise is this a 24 degree deep V, it will take some HP to move it, and gas aint as cheap as it was back then.

persoally i'd ask how much it will take in time and money to rebuild, then multiply that by 2X. pay now or pay later in spades is the rule. and in the end what is the value of that boat after you sink all that effort and quahogs(cash) into it? very few hulls are worth that level of effort and none of them get your money back.

then again I own a 77 seacraft so take advice for what its worth...one quahog o wampum worth .

Sounds like you have a "Mooney boat" Rev Moon
They had a fleet of them back in the 1980s.
28ft master marine, very steep entry, narrow beam 8ft.
They were used as a tuna fleet.
Most likely it says "Hope" plus a number on the side of the hull.

The boat is a straight up tank. Its heavy 65XX K dry with no hardware(no motors,t-tops, anything). 3/4-1 inch hand laid glass. 69' entry between 24-25' @ stern. Not a stretched Mako, the new ones are different molds, less dead rise and more beam. With the 250 its abit underpowered.
