Marine am/fm radio
My old radio finally blew out last summer so I need a replacement fm radio/ cd player and 2 speakers. It needs to be bracket mounted not flush. What brand do you guys recommend I've read some reviews and every brand has atleast a few bad reviews. and one final requirement = radio= 2 speakers less than $350.
Lets hear some opinions and thanks in advance for any help

Crab mustard is good
Mr. Fishy-
Don't limit yourself by trying to find a stereo that has the exact type of chassis as your blown unit. You can go to retailers like West Marine and get a Sony or Poly Planar with the sound and features that you want and just install it in one of these gimbal mount chassis. They cost about $40.00 and will handle most of the standard stereo chassis. Below are photos of item #7849136 by JENSEN AUDIO MGH300 Waterproof Gimbal Mount for Stereos from the West Marine website as well as the Sony CDX-G10M Marine Stereo Pack $199.99

Combines the CDX-GT10M CD player with a pair of XS-MP1610W marine speakers to pump robust sound throughout your boat. Thumping out 140W of peak power through marine-tough 6.5" polypropylene cones, this system offers a great way to supply your crew with full, rich onboard audio. built specifically to withstand marine elements with water- salt- and UV-resistant construction.
Functions: AM/FM/CD/CD-R/CD-RW, aux. input
Face Design: Detachable slot load
Display Type: Monochrome LCD on detachable faceplate
Warranty: One year

"This simple gimbal mount kit allows you to mount your marine stereo on any surface. Wide, adjustable side brackets allow installation virtually anywhere. DIN-stereo size compatibility means it works with almost any unit. Rubber rear bumper keeps the stereo from jostling around so it won't be damaged or skip, even in rough seas. UV plastic is color stabilized to prevent weathering and fading. Best of all, it's waterproof to seal out moisture and extend the life of your electronics."
Now that I have solved your problem and saved you $100.00, do you need any lures?
