    So, 2 years after this thread died I'm bringing it back to life. Why? Simple, because I just replace a macerator pump last year with a Marpac (made in China ) and...you guessed it! The POS quit pumping today! Not even lasted 1 year! So it looks like its between TMC and Galley Maid but the Galley Maid may be too big for the stern fish box. Anyone have any more input on this before I dive in and spend $$$? BTW, I truly believe you either have to have a midget or a contortionist with you to work on these pumps!

    That depends...
    After all the reviews and websites I decided on the Shureflo. The TMC site made me wonder why they are offering their macerator at around $85 and the other between $110-$150 for a 12V self-priming dry run protected and TMC doesn't advertise it's either self-priming or dry run protected. I could be all wrong but I guess I'll see if megabite's post is true; "They all suck..."
