Luhrs 37 Open with Triple 350 OBs

Forget the Luhrs bashing for a minute...has anybody gone to Luhrs website to see the specs on the new 37 Open that will have either IPS drives or triple 350 Yammies on the back?? IS this the biggest factory outboard express out there?? it dwarfs the GW 36, fountain 38, scout 35....

Jupiter 39, Contender 38, Intrepid 42, SeaVee 39, Everglades 38, Pursuit 39, Donzi 38, Fountain 38. There are several more out there and more on the "drawing board."

setting aside the 43/47 Intrepids (wow!), i think the Luhrs still has them in overall size when you factor in beam 14'6" and displacement (20,000lbs+.... website says 28k which cannot be right)....

the pursuit 37 with a 13' beam and 18k displacement hits 54 mph with a 30mph cruise getting .89mpg....

im guessing the Luhrs will hit high 40s. real curious what the cruise speed will look like if the smaller pursuit is only doing 30 at cruise....intrepid does not have any performance #s up on the 39/43/47....

And don't be surprised to see a 41' Luhrs Open with 4 Yami 350s on the back of her. Not saying it is a good idea...just don't be shocked when you see it.
