Just installed one with the help of a few folks here on sfc.
First I want to thank you all for the input.

This thing is cool. Takes 2 Sd memory cards that you can record depth sounder and gps info on for review on your pc.
Play back the day and wherever your cursor is gives depth and gps numbers. Can save to a spread sheet.
Went out bottom bouncin and recorded the trip.
On the pc found 40' to 90' drops that I drifted over and didn't notice while on the boat. No fish to speak of but nice to know. Next trip maybe we'll go over some fish.

To be honest with you, first I heard of it.
Looked it up, Looks good in the ads.
I would be interested in feedback from anyone that has one installed also.

Cmon Guys, Need input.
Why would Lowrance sell a $500.00 unit to make the sounder work the way it should ?
Oh, I got it, can you say PROFIT ?

Damn, Was happy with this unit till I found out they sell an add on to make it look good.
Also, the built in "charts" do not have depth contours.
Guess I have to buy an add on for that 2.

Another interesting development. Gps Loses signal at the same spot and recovers at the same spot every time i go out my canal.

Dead spot in satellite signal ?
