I'm having problems with my depth on my depth finder. It keeps showing up 0.0. and flashing. Everything else works on it. I have tried to reset and clean the trans. Anyone else having this problem or have had this problem?

I have a 335df, df, gps, chart and the FEW problems I ever had with it were resolved online and on the phone with Lowrance. Call them and they will help you the # is in the back of your manual.
Had a df transducer problem they replaced it no questions! Had a gps puck problem they replaced it no questions !
Have your serial and model #s ready and they wull tell you of any glitches or recalls/replacements. IMO their service was great. I had these problems on initial install setup and the unit(now superceded0 has been great ever since. That was years ago!![]()

Thanks for your help.
How is the transducer installed, transome or through hull does it happoen at speed or all the time?, some times the angle on the transom mounted units gets bumped and as the signal bounces off the bottom the boat is gone, this usally appears as a depth deeper than you know exists. the 0 issue makes me think its a software issue, keep us posted
It just flashes 0.0 at all times. Everything else appears to work fine.
no offense here but...the lowrance sets are kinda low on quality, and lowrance has got to have the worst customer service i have ever seen-i've delt with these guys first hand,i know, trust me...if you've got no reading, turn the unit on,go back to the transducer and listen...see if you hear a clicking sound,if you hear that clicking sound the ducer is throwing it's sound wave...if no click,it's probably the ducer...if the clicking is apparent, and still no signal,it's probably a problem in the "recieve module"-not an uncommon thing on these units...if the unit isn't under warranty,i highly reccomend you throw it in the trash can,if it's found to be a problem...and trust me,do not purchase another lowrance unit...
Do what Jawz says, but if it turns out the unit is bad don't throw it away! Lowrance will give you a credit towards a new unit, then you can still use your current ducer.
