I have one from a DXL 6350, worked fine when last used last year. Antenna mast was shedding and discarded. $50 plus shipping ...

I've got a complete DXL6350, just hooked it up to a battery and it quickly locked in after being on the garage shelf for aout 5 yrs. For $50 you can have the whole thing except I don't want to package/ship the antenna section if you don't need it, another $25 for that. (2 piece antenna)

apelco coupler needed

I need a coupler for a DXL 6550.

What goes wrong with the couplers? can they be fixed. I had one go bad years ago. I opened it up and it was all corroded. but this one I sealed it up and two years later it stopped working again. When I opened up this one it all looked new inside. I did test the coupler with a DXL 6500 and had no signal so I don't think it's the unit. Any Ideas
Thanks Davek

I had L&L Marine Electronics here in OCMD hook me up with a generic coupler for my sitex a while back. Seems there is a little PC board in the base that if it gets a little damp it has a tendancy to fry. I've since parked the unit but still have it complete (finally got on the gps bandwagon) one of these days i'm going to have a yard sale and see if I can get afew bucks for all the stuff i don't use anymore.
