Looking for Restored Classic SeaCraft or Mako

I'm looking for a smaller boat for striper/inshore fishing and the occasional joy ride around LI, Fishers Island, etc.

    Prefer something 20' - 23'........
Especially interested in a restored early-to-mid 70's SeaCraft
Have already looked on Yachtworld, Boattrader, Classic Mako and Classic SeaCraft web sites.....

    hey JD5652,
I've presently got a 20' seacraft for sale ,It's a late 70's "potter hull" , the one most desired. Anyway it was a Seafari, which was the streamlined small cuddy,i had it removed and installed a center console, thinking the wife would go out for a spin ,boy was i wrong!
Deck and hatches are solid and the exterior gel coat is good for a boat this age. The one less desirable thing is its an I/O, but the 4.3 v-6 has less than 12 hrs. from new and has brand newrisers and manifolds du to extreme weather, out drive is an ALPHA 1,GEN 2 and has new bearings and seals, one season of less than 4 hrs. running, selling because i don't have time to use it and lost job situation. trailer is good but no title, pm me and we can talk about price which i think is good considering it is a Seacraft.

    Hey jawz12,
My thoughts exactly, but for some reason alot of people look down on I/O's ,maybe because the motor box takes up fishing space? i kind of like the old lump of iron back there vs. the new high tech computerized outboard hanging 3' off the transom. hey, hows the LOBSTAH BOAT? the're was a jonesport on ebay last week but my meager income cant take the massive outgo!
p.s. hey JD not trying to hijack the post, good luck on your search,i'm partial to Seacrafts myself....

    Hey JD,
Mine's not that pretty ,but its not a beater either ,like i stated , the engine runs great ,it does'nt have a t-top but i know where ones at that would fit!
the footwell where the cabin was at was converted to a large underdeck compartment/cooler?
