Livewell Pump Replacement - Simple Project turned ANNOYING

Figured I would share my aggrevation.

Last time we were out we noticed the livewell pump was making a god awful noise as it was on its way out.

I had a spare in the truck and figured ahhh just change it out.

Sounds simple enough Right?

Well not really

After wrenching on it by hand and not being successful of getting it off. I plugged the feed line and decided I would get a filter belt wrench and get it off.

After getting a wrench that didn't fit and finally getting one that would yesterday.

Today I figured I would go back at it.

Just before I went back out there, I decided to drop the factory an email and see if I was losing my mind or just a weakling

Turns out there is a simple easy solution to my aggravation

No need to replace the housing, just take the 6 screws out of the top and swap the guts out. DUH, sometimes its easier just to ask!

Just checked my nails and not a stitch of dirt under them Heck I even fit in the bilge
