Looking good billschwabe. I think I'd have a hard time fishing that boat after seeing how good it looks. Are you going to put any kind of windscreen(windshield) on the center console? A short, slightly curved, and tinted windscreen I think would look killer on it...

Fuel flow meter says 4.3gph @ 4000rpm's/30 knots, a little over 200 miles of range with the 35 gallon tank (maybe sneak a little farther offshore on the pretty days?). I'll get some running shots whenever I can convince someone to go out and follow along. Still a few minor bugs with the electronic gauges but I'm tickeled so far!
Bill, I will be yo about the 15 of May for a week prefishing for the Redfish Action tournament. I will be glad to take shots of you boat running for you...

Sounds great, Lee. You know where I am, there's a real good spot very close to where I'm sitting that most people don't know about. I may also have found a few others between now and then.

llessur2, I thought about it but with the helm down I just couldn't find a way to make it look right. Thought about having one slide in and out of the lid but that'll be a project for the next one. I'm spoiled by having full and wing curtains on the "old" flat bottom skiff and it' taking some getting used to for sure! Sitting down there is a good bit of wind deflection when the lids up so it isn't bad wind-wise.

I agree agitator :-), let's see that new one Bo!

we just sold our 25 mako..

happy day though.. the boat will go to the keys to live on ocean side. the single 250 etec by the way would plane out the boat at 3600 real easy and still had balls of a rino when you wanted to run. we caught a bunch of fish with her and tagged a bunch of sharks.. when you get to tag sharks though you get to repaint your boat. it is due to shark skin on awlgrip,... lp clips and big circle hooks along with crimps on 600 to 800lb mono and cable connections.. in all I repainted her again and told the new owner to not use scrubby pads or scouring cleaners.. big gannet / boobie bird crapped all over the bow on the sea trial and I told him I have heard that that was considered lucky..

she was sold two days ago and her replacement is a 25' formula fwd cuddy boat with an out drive set up hull.. I figure a set of 4 stroke 150 hondas or a set of 200 optis I have will make her come to life.
what ever boat you have make it count..
my bertram 28 has 910 hours on her new engines so far.. love the optis for power.
