Let's say you found the boat you.....

grew up on. Let's say you have not seen her in 27 years. Further let's say see is a classic Rybovich or Merritt and you have a chance to buy her back and do a complete renovation. Further let's say she has a legacy in the Cape May fleet starting in the early 60's. Do you buy her? .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. ..Well I did! Here she is in a couple of recent photos "The Leprechaun"

Pretty Boat. Congrats. I believe I would have made the same decision.

Please post pics as you begin working on her.

Thanks guys!

I will post a catalogue of pics in the coming months including some shots of her original sea trials in 1964. She needs some work to be as good as new, but when done she will be the finest kind complete with hew original artwork & name on the transom. My hope is to slip her in her original dock that she left oh so many years ago as if to say to her welcome home.

When I get some more time I will tell the story and give some history. I got to tell you I feel I just found a long lost friend. I have owned several boats in past years, but I always seem to measure them against this one.

The other boats were OK, but this one has a soal. I am certain guys that have grown up doing this understand what i mean by that statement.
