I took out 6v53 on that one and went with turbo volvos when they were just comming into play. That boat had been a 16-17 knot boat all her life. The volvos jacked her up to about 24 or 25... I soon discovered that wood boats work. At speed they weren't designed for they work too much. That boat's seams opened up and didn't want to go back the way they were. I wound up chasing her for the next two years and she never did get right.
If she's happy with her speed now. Do the little gem a favor and keep her at that happy speed...

Yes a repower will be performed and I do not plan on achieving more than an honest 25 knots. She will be cold moulded and sistered as may be needed giving her some added strength and a modern like new appearance.

I couldn't fish the WMO because I was still recovering from winning the Beach Haven White Marlin Inviational. I see you like Verados. Tell me what is your specific affection with strap-ons?
