Post (undisputed)Joe I remember that day well!

If the 35 scarab could eat up A 38fountain in the rough imagine what an invinsible or yellowfin would do!LET ME RECAP of that day in question:90mi run out of manaquan proved that the first 35miles in the smooth water fountain was the winner but at that point the fountain was out of site at probally close to 6mi ahead of us.BUT when it became rough about 40mi off then it was A game of catchup At 90mi they where about 7mi behind us!!!!we passed them like they where stopped and we didnt even get wet or feel that it was that rough!!! BOY it LOOKED LIKE THEY WHERE GETTING BEAT UP BAD!I dont know how they where even able to fish!LOL

DEEP What are you smokeing A 35 Wellcraft WILL NOT OUT RUN THE FOUNTAIN IN THE ROUGH.I fished the 35 Wellcraft with Trip 250 Yamahas its top speed was 54mph with a full load 8 rods 3 cast nets Puls food ice 4 guys all over 200lbs 300+gal of fuel 2 livewells and that was all you will get out of it.In the Little River Tournament last year 4/6 ft seas we ran from LR SC to 4 Mile rocks off of Drum Inlet over 100 miles we had put the frist line in 40min. before the YF got there and 25min tell the 2nd boat got there.I think the Wellcraft are good fishing boats but they cant take 5/7 ft seas like the Fountains and the YF.
