get one of those red or blue plastic two liter crates/racks u see sitting behind every 7-11. they hold like 8 bottles side by side. cut the top of 8 bottles and insert. stick in the console and fill em up.

get the old type beer coolers..
they have a top handle / lid that opens when ya mash in the side button. they are strong and you can throw it in any hole or leave it on the deck when you need it. easy to clean with clorox clean up.. holds a good amount of leads plus some planers.

Parachute bags work great. Divided and can conform to any shape needed.

My answer is a plastic Maxwell House coffee container in the 2 pound, 2.5 ounce size. It has a built in handle that makes it easy to pick it up, a round plastic lid thats water tight and a large base so it won't tip over. I'll try to post a picture by the weekend.

Paint ball gun ammunition boxes work awesome!
I haven't yet but I want to drill a small drain hole in the bottom of each, just in case water gets in them. I keep smaller egg weights and 1-2 oz sinkers in a tackle tray Something I got last year that was dynamite is the shimano tackle bags. One is set up for leader, tools, terminal, and hooks both Inshore/Offshore trays. The other big bag is set up with other misc stuff that we need on the boat but not as frequently used.
