Lay up for deisel fuel.
NEAR FULL OR HALF FULL
Additive or No Aditives.
I heard that the additives in the diesel fuel can cause problems to the inside of the tank if left for long periods.

Full or half full doesn't matter. Condensation isn't as much of an issue as most people think. One good reason to leave them full however; diesel fuel will probably be more expensive next year.
Additives; depends on the additive. Most should be fine. Don't add more until next spring if you're concerned.
Hope that helps.![]()
IE8 says this may be a phishing site....Well, DUH!!!!!!... Stupid jerks can't even spell fishing right.
I usually store my tanks about 95% full to eliminate condensation and allow for some expansion in the spring.
I add diesel fuel stabilizer for the winter and then add cetane booster and algae inhibitor in the spring.
I haven't had any fuel issues in five years following this routine.
We put ours away with less than half and have never had a problem. I don't like having all that extra weight in her while she is on the blocks. Only additive we been using that last 2 years is the StarTron diesel.
