i'm kinda kicking around an idea i have...i'm thinking about giving a seminar on outboard maintainance-gonna show you how to service your engine,winterize your engine and change the water pump...whatta ya think ??? any of you guys interested ??? give you some basics trouble shooting as well...
mabey do the same thing for gas inboards too...

any interest in this ???

this would take place at my shop-i'm thinking saturday-should be an entire day...i figure keep it to 5-8 people and should cost around $150 per person

do you realize how much money that would save people ... plus it's a chance to 'pass thier own hands' over thier engine and they would know it so much better.

i'm gonna go ahead and set this up...details to follow,i should be setting this up within a few weeks,this way you guys can save yourselves a few dollars by winterizing your engines yourselves,same deal with water pumps too...

like i said,if this works out well...i'll do a few for gas inboards and stern drives...

It is a great idea. I am too far away to attend but you will get to teach the guys a little bit about motors some of them will end up thinking they know all and try to fix everything so it should bring in more business as well. ha ha.

No seriously it is a great idea. Especially if you can show some quick on the water fixes for small problems that may occur while out.

like i said,i'm gonna run with this...somone stated to me "why would i pay for this,when i could get it for free"??? here's the difference,you get to see it done,you will get to do it yourself too,that's the difference...

now,i'm gonna set this up for november 8th...gonna start this at 9am and it will run untill everyone understands and has no more questions-how's that ??? if you want to get in on this,put you name on this thread...i'm gonna take a $25 deposit to hold your spot,i'm gonna limit this to 8 guys and the cost is $150 per guy/gal...


this will be the first one,and we'll cover outboards...

in 2 weeks we'll do another one on gas inboards and stern drives...i'll include removing the drive and servicing the drive as well...

we'll keep doing this till we run out of interest,ok ??
