been working on fishing, roof, boats and got a cpl days that I could start framing up another little Sea Brat.. hope this gives you hope for always finding a boat that fits people.. notice my feet kicked up on nice big seats? cool big back deck..(it even gets a fighting chair / rocket launcher..) .. all the storage I could get was built into this rig on my thoughts and all the room I could get out of her.. sand blasted the entire hull inside and out and added all new epoxy frames, tanks, 0 hours on this rig.. and it still blows away most boats by far..
nice new set.. ... kinda makes you smile .. last one did 54 knots wide open on the pins, me driving her all out with FULL fuel, 5 people and a cooler of ice beers and water.. all safety stuff, 42 gallons of water.. she settles in at 32-27 knots with her deep v and rides great at cruise though.. having a true loaded, 26-30 knot cruise great riding boat was my goal.. then I started adding shade, flybridge to see fish.. and the list started..
Please keep pics coming. I love looking at what changes people do in the 28 Berts. If you run across a flybridge windshield that is in decent shape let me know or if you can make one out of fiberglass that can be painted let me know. Mine got cracked when someone thought they could lean back on it so I am looking to make a fiberglass one that will be strong enough to take someone leaning on it.
haha I run a set to 3 vacuums at a time.. and wear the silly white suit... you save yourself time $ product and aggravation if you sandblast any old hull project first! gets the old oil and goop out of the bilge also..
