Has anyone taken a look at this boat. it is gorgeous. the cockpit seating area appears a touch on the small side, but the cabin looks very roomy. really nice fit and finish

interior is a bit on the smallish side, and i'd rather see inboards than outboards

I liked it
I think they did alot of things right - very spacious and roomy with and a quality build to boot... pricey and im not sure outboards like previously stated are the most efficient way to move this boat...Overall well done though.

Was on the boat in Norwalk. Tow huge fishbox's in the deck and a stand up 45 gallon well. Down below was also done very well.
Rather have a center helm than the side helm but I could work with it. I am OK with outboards when you look at a top speed in the mid fifties. With twins mid forties. Cruise mid 30's doing mid thirties in fuel burn. If you don't like outboards buy a different boat. Simple. Overall very nice boat. |

I like outboards, I own them
I just don't think the numbers you quoted are that great. Not really in a "rush" to buy a boat that is going to cost $150-200/hr to operate at cruise that is less than 40 feet. And she can run into the 50s top end? Who cares, shes prob burning 75 gallons an hour. In the old days this is np - but guess what - crude is up $8 bucks today. It's different now. And there are many inboard boats with much better economy numbers under 40 feet... with all due respect to Jupiter because it is clearly a quality built machine.

Venture your actually burning 105 an hour on the pins. When you buy a boat like this fuel burn isn't on most owners minds. I never said it was economical? There are far more eco friendly and econimical rides out there. Fun to run?Absolutely.
If you can't afford the fuel go downeast and go 20 knots and burn 15 gallons and hour.Nothing wrong with that. To each his own. Right now I am wrestling between the 39 Jupiter EX and a 36 H&H. ![]() |

Not familiar with H&H
But good for you - nothing better than boat shopping. The boat seems right in many ways and I wish you luck in your choice. That second bunk below is brilliant..
