    Juniper Boat Building

    Im new to the website. Wanted to start a forum on juniper boat building. Currently constructing a 46' charter boat style boat.

    I say Im building it for myself however, I guess that it would be for sale if someone came along wanting that style boat,with that type of craftsmanship.

    Nice!! Where you out of?.....I'm waiting to do the same on a keel and frame that I bought off this forum last year. Finally got her set up level and ready to start planking but my new son hasn't let me get at it yet. Maybe this fall I can start planking her.     Nice looking work so far. I have a question? the hull ribs and keel, what kind of wood?I owned a juniper planked boat and that cedar smelled so sweet. and light weight!
