Jimmy's Marine Service Seminar MAN YOU REALLY MISSED IT!!!

I went to Jim’s(jaws12) seminar on outboard maintenance Saturday.
    WHAT A VALUE!!
What I learned will save me IN EXCESS OF TEN TIMES THE ENTRY FEE!!!!
    In the FIRST YEAR!!!!
For those of you not familiar w/ Jim’s operation, it’s a CLEAN, WELL LIT AND ORGANIZED shop.
    THIS CAT KNOWS HIS SHINIZZLE!!!
His knowledge and skills are apparent and he’s got plenty of great stories both the good and the BAD.
He’s also no nonsense, don’t waste his time if you don’t want to learn.
We covered spring and fall service and water pump service for starters, count on turning wrenches!!
and he also covered subjects from battery set-up to glass work,
that’s what I remember w/o checking my NOTES!
YEP!! About 6 pages of notes!!
It was a real HANDS ON DAY, we went through at least
½ a box of shop towels.
This full day seminar is well worth the time, very fun and informative.
Jim is passionate, he knows what he’s doing, and he’s great at imparting
    that knowledge.

Oh and they serve beer’s on the Cape May – Lewes Ferry.
I took that to get back to Annapolis.
    Gass was 1.95 in NJ
    Easily worth the drive!!

From what i have seen Jimmy post on here he seems to know his stuff. Good people who know what they are doing are often hard to find. There are plenty of wrench holders out there. Jimmy hope you had a good turnout

It's really cool and far beyond the call of duty when someone with that kind of knowledge is willing to pass it on,even when it may cost him a little bussiness in the long run.

Sounds like one that is not to be missed. I have always joked that a Capt is one part engineer, one part babysitter and one part fisherman.

This will at least help with the engineer part of the job.

And to think some had the audacity to claim it was "too expensive." I knew this was worth many times what Jimmy was charging...smart move for those of you who were able to take advantage of it.

TJ you nailed it. The class was awesome and worth every penny. This will be the first year Im not dreading hauling out the rig. I wish I had this information years ago, I could have saved thousands.
