The 31 ride was great and to be honest I was shocked at the torch from the desiel motor. She got up and ran and you could feel the power. The trim on this boat was amazing and I truelly would love to run it in a nice sea as I have a feeling she would push her way through most seas. Capt John |

Standard power is CAT C-7 with around 29kt. cruise on a new boat. The engine of choice is the 540 Cummins with a 32+ kt. cruise. We working on a boat now with C-7's thats going to Puerto Rico, I'll have more up to date speeds with new props were using and some of the changes we've made. After that is a boat with the new 600 Cummins. I'm expecting 40+ kts. WOT from her. Bay fishin: As for is the 40'. We're doing the 45' first (which is coming along nicely) then we'll tackle the 40'. On the side exhaust: This just happens to be my personal preference. The boat definitely raises fish and I firmly believe the side exhaust contributes to that. tumblehome construction
jrzcape,
Do some of the hull molds section apart to allow for the tumblehome aft section that is on some of the boat's or is there some other super secret trade secret on how you release such a design out of the mold? Either way it looks great and I don't know if I've ever seen it on an all glass boat. |

The mold is "split" down the center and opens wide to allow clearing of the tumblehome when pulling the hull. Our new 45' is a three piece mold with a removable transom. Wayne |
