It's been awhile since an update and alot of things are coming together. Today engine room and forward machine/tank areas received there final paint. Gas tank, water tanks, rudder ports, and other machine items have arrived. Engines and generator will be delivered in a few weeks, as mounts are being built. Air vents have been cut and molds are being built. The forward cabin sol has been vacuumed bagged and dry fit, and helm and cockpit floors are starting as well.

Was at IBEX earlier in the month looking at the "plug and play" electrical distribution and monitoring systems. The two we are looking at now are OctoPlex by Mortiz aerospace and E-Plex by Bass. Does anyone on here have one of these systems, if so is the boat located near NC/SC?

Attached are some photos and there are a few more on the website. If anyone is around this way, stop on in and check things out.

A few more picss. Things are progressing right along, as yesterday we received and set engines. Forward mechanical and tanks have been set and plumbed, fuel tank has been set, linear exhaust, and laz completed and paint. The forward cab sol, bridge deck, and cockpit have all been molded/vacuum bagged with composites. The rest of the engine room equipment is coming in daily, so now on to the rest of assembly.

Thanks to everyone that has stopped by the shop and check her out. Yesterday with the boat outside traffic was pretty heavy and you can really get a different perspective of her outside.

Happy New Year to everyone!!

Thanks for the positive comments. Thomas, yes you can stop by anytime, we have a open door policy. I will be leaving tomorrow afternoon to head back up to MHC for a few days, but Dennis and the rest of the guys will be in the shop all weekend. We work 9.5 days on and 4.5 off, so some of the guys can go back home. This weekend is a on weekend, stop on by.

I was by the shop today and the boat is looking great. She has the first coat of paint and they are sanding to make her look like the work of art she is. Will post a couple of photos when I figure out how. What a cool project.
