amazing what the price tag is on that boat now, considering what it would have been 5 years ago. If you could afford the slip rent and upkeep on her, the price tag is pocket change.

and almost made an offer. But when I saw it had 7 batteries I change my mind. I dont feel like changing 7 flirking batteries, pain in the arse. Is that boat an opportunity or a prison sentence??? Sometimes it is hard to tell the difference with boats

Let's break it down.

A 2003, repossessed boat. With Engine Hours: 2375 and a slight step up from charter boat interior. Engines that appear to be mounted offset from the main stringers. Genny wide out in the open without a sound enclosure. Fuel hoses that look like they are from an over the road truck, filthy helm seats, no cockpit lazarette hatches to access the steering system got to crawl through a smelly bilge to get to the steering system, carpeting ? cheap veneers in the salon, salon fridge installed just in front of the cabin companionway (great location to get thrown down the companionway in a sea way). Wall paper in the head? (Sweet! Is that a boat head or some low rent bathroom loft?) Oh and that state room suite, doesn't that look comfy! The over under bunks look great if you're use to sleeping on the ground. Outstanding Beautiful Teak Interior , A galley that your lady friends will appreciate , a Liquor Cabinet , just cause you're going to need it,

I say offer $150K and they'd be crazy not to jump.

For an additional $400K worth of upgrades on top of the purchase price, you'd have a decent boat.
