Cats ...they fish and run great..

the 33 I fishon has a lot of room. power is yama 250 4 strokes runs great all day long.. my choice would have been the 300 e teks though. lots of boxes and neat layout. you go over some waves that you think are really bad and land nice... then sometimes the slap of a wave feels wierd also between the hulls if your not used to cats. great on fuel and is great for people

The cape horn looks gorgeous. Did some reading on them and they compared them to a yellowfin, and the result was pretty much yellowfin was faster and drier.

Has anyone heard about the new Hydra-Sports 41?

Boat: Pursuit C-340 SeaVeyor
Home Port: Beaufort NC
MB, whats your budget, cruise speed needs etc.?
Any size restrictions from a storage stand point?
Fuel consumption not an issue (trip/quads)?

Seems your looking at a rather large range of vessels
which at this stage is the proper search procedure.

Enjoy the hunt........

Um. i will probly wait till next summer to really make a purchase because gas prices can only go up soo high untill they start to go back down..

i would really like a CC in the high 30's (36, 37, 38, 39 and above if needed,) that can get me offshore at 60mph in 2-4'ers and can possibly get me home in 10 if the moment strikes

also a great fishing layout is pretty much a no brainer for all of us. Haha

My biggest considerations have been: (in that order)

Venture 39 (excellent quality layout and all)
Sea-Vee 390(excellent layout, not sure about quality)
Yellowfin 36(excellent speed and lines, not so good layout)
Midnight Express 37(looks like one bad fishing boat)*

Some others (somewhat in order)
Yellowfin 42*
Bahama 41*
Fountain 38
Sea Hunter 40*
Edgewater 388*
Donzi 38
Hydra-Sports 41*

I like alot of these boats but i dont know anything about the vessels with the asterisk to the side, i mainly have seen pics but no reviews or any other form of review.

Pretty much anyone can help me out with the ones i do not knoow about cause you guys probly know more then me haha

I kinda do have to agree from the look of the flare of that bow.. it looks like a carolina custom or something of that nature but so does the yellowfin.... just not as much

i do like the Cape horn cause it is a bigger boat

which would you prefer?
