HullScan Info

Capt. Mick and Marty:

Thank you for your interest in HullScan. My name is Michael Mills and I am one of the original founders of the company. We have been in business for almost two years now. HullScan was developed as an addition to the standard marine survey or as a stand alone service. Just as our name says, we are the latest technology in boat hull inspection services. Our technicians don't use hammer and tapping noises, but very sophisiticated scanning equipment. HullScan merges very nicely during any normal marine survey, or at anytime when the owner or potential owner needs reassurance, or information about the condition of his/her hull. We have found a very interesting market with the center consoles and smaller boats that are a little older than the rest and are in need of a repower. We have found that owners are reluctant to mount $10,000-$40,000 worth of outboards on an older transom without knowledge of the transom's integrity. We have found everything across the board, from horror stories to "solid as a rock". You'd be very suprised whats good, and well, what's just not acceptable! Please feel free to check out our website www.hullscan.com and email info@hullscan.com with any questions.

Thank you,

Michael Mills
