Jaws, I love your reply on the fuel tank issue. You sound alot like the guy who used to do the work on the boats I have owned over the years.

No short cuts or patches. If a part was corroded or worn on one engine, he replaced the same part on the other engine on the basis it was close to gone as well.

Hated the cost, but he was usually right. We did alot of offshore game fishing, so better to be safe than sorry. Inthe end it is normally cheaper as well to bite the bullet upfront. Like dirty fuel. You can clean, polish, nuke, filter till hell freeezes over, or you can take it out, get the tanks cleaned, and put fresh juice in. Hurts, but you get a clean tank, no sludge, etc.

You know the boat trueism - if its a part for a boat, it will cost twice as much as the same part for anything else, and you will need two!

If it flys, floats, or f##ks, hire by the hour.
