Hey canyongear,
Looks like Paul's done hit another one outta the park, i had'nt seen one of his lattest boats up close in a while ,cause i haven't been to the chese .I had heard that the original client had passed , a shame , but the new one's getting a fine boat. I know Nelva Capps has a nice looking boat sitting on his yard looking for a new home also , i think it was a similar situation.
Paul builds a mighty fine boat , hope he gets to finish this monster off, gonna be sweeeeet!

the original owner did pass, he was from Arlington,Va.
He has a home at Pirates Cove and his 54 Bertram is there as well.
The gentleman that has been running there family boat for years is still with them, Capt.Earl, a first class guy, he had a lot to do with the early stages of the build and the loss was a tuff one for him as you can imagine.
She was going to be to big to keep at the Cove, they were going to open a slip up for her in Wanchese on the bulkhead.
The new owner is going to have a beast of a boat for sure.

guess theyre gonna have to build a "canyon club" dock at the wanchese basin fo the monsters being built down there. with the big ones everyone is building they are gonna need to do something. i guess when paul splashes this rigg he'll have to put in in at the ferry dock in mann's harbor? If i ever get dug out up here , (i've got 35" of snow on the ground) i may come down next week just to poke around in the shops in chese , i'll give you a shout

he may have to slide her down the rails like the old days !!

Call me if you come down. Frenzy and I are in the boat shop doing a make over on a boat for Tommy Danchese, his old boat, the "Handfull" sunk at the inlet last month trying to pull that trawl boat free that went aground. He bought this one in Hatteras and is doing some upgrades for drop netting.
