A SIMPLE TIGHTENING OF THE WING NUT ALONG WITH A HIT OF THE OL WIRE BRUSH AND "START ME UP!!!" SHE FIRED FIRST TIME!!!

There should be no wing nuts on a battery on any outboard that has a ecu, emm, or anyother type of computer. Replace them with locknuts right away. If you run any electric fuel pump dry you ran a 50% chance that it is destroyed. If it is still working you took alot of years off the life of that pump. That goes for outboard, sterndrive or inboards with this style pump.
