Glad to see you got it worked out Paul. Do you have any idea which fix actually did the deed or do you think it was a combo? Did your motor mounts need replacing or were you looking at that as PM?

Actual problem seemed to be in the cutlass bearings and engine alignment. Both shafts now spin freely. 5 of 8 motor mounts were showing their age so all 8 got replaced.
We went ahead and performed a lot of maintenance/repairs while on the hard even though some may not have been fully required or due. But we didn't want to deal with the expense and down time of being hauled again. Should be good through next season now. Alls well that ends well. Ran the boat to St Michaels yesterday to enjoy the some steamed crabs. She ran great and is begging to head to the ocean. If the damn fishing would heat up I might be able to justify going around for a few weeks and fish our own boat for a change. ![]() |
