Help with GPSmap 230

Can I get a Bluechart for this unit? I acquired it. I am in region US031R
I dont know if I need a micro SD or a Garmin data card

Think it is worth it to upgrade the unit or just replace it?

The 230 uses Garmin G Chart Cards. They discontinued them in 2004. I have two units(GPSMap 215 & 220 for each of my boats) that use the Garmin G Charts, I have been buying them on eBay for about $40 to $60 per card. I have not found an area that has been outdated yet. All the cards I bought are 1999 and newer. You can look on the Garmin site for the G Chart area information to find out which ones you need to buy for your area.

Would this be the G chart card? They are calling it a G2 Data card. I just dont wanna buy the wrong thing.

$132 is plenty more than $60 but better than buying a new unit. I just dont want to buy the wrong thing. The above ebay item is for my area as long as it is compatible with the GPSmap230.

What you listed is not a G Chart. Keep looking on eBay they show up often.
