What is the console windshield area made of?

It looks like penske or coosa board. I would have used that material before I would have used plywood? It will hold screws and wont crush like divinycel. This is a standing area top also right. That is why you have so much glass on a small top? I guess I always make it a goal to build them light as I can. Good luck

Yeah its made of coosa. Its going to be the forward support for the top, once its all glassed up solid. Thats why I triangulated the front corners. That created a piece of tubing and made a nice rigging tube to get wires from the console to the electronics box.

I thought of using coosa and really it was a toss up. See the plywood is 40# per 4x8 and the coosa is 34 so for 12#s the plywood was the ticket. Besides coosa holds a screw ok at best.

Yes the top will be for standing on Im going to make a small folding crows nest for the top.

Been slow lately, its been damn coldout side as you know.

Top is done, console is ready for high build primer.

Hoping to get it to paint by the end of the month

Got a bunch more pics but I lost the special battery charger.

I have not touched mine since Thanksgiving! I was on a roll then it has been so cold since then. When the temps get back into the 40 or 50s I will get back to it.
