Your actually wrong again cupcake. This was all premed. and forethought out. I could care less about the swim platform. Trust me, I'll burn the friggin thing if it gets in my way here. But again, all a test. It seems to me that your attitude needs some adjusting. And I figured that I'd tweak it a bit. Worked like a charm. As a matter of fact, I haven't had that good of luck since the last school of bluefish came through my slick!! You were much easier to bait than I had imagined, flew right off the handle and then showed your true colors. Again, screw you. I don't like your attitude, I don't like how you post replies, and I definitely didn't like the fact that you are attacking a young man who's got just as much of a right to post how he feels about what he knows, and trust me, he could teach many on SFC a lot! Like I said earlier, none of this entire situation has affected me except for my stomach muscles. They really took a beating over the weekend. I haven't laughed that hard in a long, long time.

Good luck with the riggers. If your looking for some stout aluminum plate check Home Depot or Lowes, they usually stock some of that diamond plate that tool boxes are made of. I had the same set up on my old 23 walk around, the aluminum backer worked fine. I doubled the plates for additional strength.

If you do use alummun backing plates,being you can't go wide,add lengh to it to spreed out the stress point. 12" or longer would work better.

I went back to work on the riggers this weekend and made some improvements. I used WEST systems epoxy to coat the hole and screw holes. I bolted some aluminum back plates as well; they are 14" long and 1/2" thick. All in all I think it came out really well. Thanks to everyone who gave advice.
