Hubris is right, it's gonna be cheaper in NC buttttttttt, it pays to ask around.
Every winter there are a bunch of us who fish for a living on the OBX that do a lot of boat work/repair. Look at some of my post over the past two years. I am not saying that we are the cheapest but we all own our own rigs and know how things need to be done because we put them through the test everyday we fish and depend on them to make a living.

I know the guys at Harbor, they have done work for me in the past and it was good but I knew the guy that was doing the job and he did it the way I wanted it.

Anyway, I know I could have saved you some money and I promise you would have been happy with the reults.

Even in a down economy I have had more work to do on boats this fall than ever. Most of the work is from referals of past customers that have gotten screwed by the big repair yards/shops in the past and are looking to get it done right the first time.

I dont want to come across wrong here. im just saying this.......If you cant get it done in north carolina, IT CANT BE DONE! period. and i know ive never been overcharged down there. or had it done wrong. and working on a boat, aint easy.

Doing great Hubris,
saw your rig sittiing all lonely on the rack again today.

Been busy in the boat yard on projects all Fall, splashed my boat yesterday finally. Getting ready to take her up to Va.Beach for the Striper season the first week of Dec.
