Capt. Jay I built the plug using seaflex, then cast the mold of that and ran her as my guide boat, (Fly Light / tackle fishing) . The mold is built about three times as strong as the hull need to be by all the positions you have to roll it around and into here is the plug before I sprayed the red tooling gel coat
I am glad you both like it!

and one while the mold was being built
the making is great..its perfect, want to bring one on shore...

glassmonkey-ajjjhhjf.pngglassmonkey-dgggjghj.pngThanks fhe comments,, Jay I meant what I posted!,, your people who serve our contry are true super heros!,, this thread and its up dates are a bit slow, in building a plug for something I mold we spend lots of time going over it and back over it and back again to nake sure she if fair! at the same time we are workingon a one pcs stringer bulkhead part called a grillage this will speed production and make soe a super solid foundation!,, thy Friday we should be spraying the surfacing primer on her then polishing her up to a near 2000 grit finish ready for wax and the mold !

Man she is a looker !

Not sure how I missed your update Bo, but, thanks again for the kind words. Last Friday we had my official retirement ceremony, guess now I have to grow up and get a real job. Enough about me, just looking forward to more updates on the entire family of monkeys.
