Ugly = depreciation. Bad = buying new??? Good = Buy used from a private seller and enjoy a STEEP discount...

first, the quality of the wellcraft is terrible, seen some serious problems with their hulls-all new ones too...ride,oh yeah, the ride on those boats, well,it's gonna pound you to death...terrible resale value too...you couldn't give me a wellcraft...
grady, well, the lay out is nice, rides rough,it's gonna pound pretty good too.the build quality isn't what you think it is,but,if it's under warranty,gw will take care of...waaaaayyy overpriced !!
pursuit...nice !!! excellent build quality, excellent fit and finish, nicley layed out too, excellent customer service !! great ride too !! clearly,my choice would be the pursuit...

if you're in north carolina, give john painter a call over at coastal carolina yacht sales, they're located in beaufort 252-247-7580...john's a good dude and he'll treat you right !!

Agree with the used boat esp now, good buys out there, my vote would be the Pursuit also, go take some rides, some crawling around below decks and see for your self.

In thaat sze range and out of those particular models I'd have to agree, the pursuit is the best boat. It has a nice layout and is built very well. As for the Grady, I think it is the smallest feeling 28 out of the three and offers the least usable room, the pursuit feels more open and so does the welcraft. I've been on 29 welcrafts, they are designed ok, build wise they go through rough patches, sometimes you get a good one other times you don't. For your money stick to one of the other two, also the welcraft is a hog on fuel, even with four strokes compared to the other two models. If I had to rank them for these 3 models:
    1) Pursuit
    2) Grady White
    3) Welcraft
Regardless of what we all say, go look at them and make sure it has everything you are looking for, and sea trial anything you buy. If it is used I'd recommend a survey, even newer boats from time to time can have issues, you'd be surprised. Good luck and let us know what you decide.

Pursuit... I Know I am late!!! *you can go new....

IF: you get a great intrest rate and you are well off and smart... (*have 5-7 years of warrantee) ... 2. have extra cash and sell your ride... 3. buy used anyway and have transferable warrantees, 4. buy used and trust 'original' power, 5. buy used and repower... pursuit is good though! get a boat you like!

    I'd go with the Grady,
    -The resale is better,
    -The ride is great,
So is the quality. If you punched the fiberglass for a dumbass reason, your knuckles are gonna hurt without messing up the boat haha.

Plus if its the CC, they have that really cool flip up display at the helm.

Just my opinon, hope it helps

Grady has some cool tooling on all thier molds...

that takes tallent and time espescially when it is used in strength,,, I still say get the pursuit though shes lighter and takes less power to push...
