Getting close on a 35 Carolina Classic
Anybody have any feedback on this rig, or suggestions on similar ?

I did a lot of research on this boat before buying an Albemarle 360xf. I talked with some owners.
What I heard was you really want the 540 horse motors to cruise it in the sweet spot. Range is somewhat limited for the NE Canyons and guys up here going the the farther trenches are deckloading fuel or trolling part way.
Everything else was really positive about the boat.
Not sure what year you are looking for but Jason @ Southshore called me with a low hr 2007 w/ 540s the week after I bought the Albe.

I wear cool logos
Make sure you look at the Everglades
I don't know the 35' specifically, but I recommend you see them if looking for a new boat.

Stop staring at my Avatar.
I have fished on the CC 35 and it is a solid boat, it would have to be considering the amount of glass there is in the hull. The 450hp Cummin engines, in the older ones, is not enough HP for this heavy deep V hull. Owners had to run them too hard to get the speed out of them. The 480hp Cummin engines were better in terms of perforence, but I have never heard of anyone that did not have a problem with this cross-over engine. So you really need to go with the 540hp engines. Before you pull the trigger on any 35ft express, you really need to ride on a 34 Judge Express. The Judge is an excellent fishing plateform and far easier on the wallet to run.
