Had the wheels "tuned" when we first bought her... The place though I'm not sure computer dialed in what we are actually running. Spec for that boat is 26 1/2 x 42 1/2... Thats whats stamped in the wheel but don't know if its right or not. "Finding her "cruise" of 27-28 knots at 1980 rpm which seems low rpm for that kind of speed from what I have been told.
I have a hunch that somebody may have got creative with them... The sooting issue really isn't much.... If I run diesel addititive we get none. We don't get it in smooth water at all. Long run in rough water though our burn goes to hell and she'll be somewhat dirty after two hundred miles... Tweaked some but not over the top...
I had run 1200 miles with at first hyper-dirty bottom Then some nasty seas witrh bare glass that had been soft scrub opened up... She's tight and shiny now thanks to a combo of all the great tips run forward here...

Deep, have you ever used "Grease Off"? Great stuff and removes soot very well as well as dryed blood...

Yes I did and just about every industrial strngth stuff out there... It had settled in on spots that were pourous and just woukldn't give it up... The cleaner waxes did the trick best and now I got a nice slick surface that it should come off easy with from here on out. Purple power is the best I have used out of all the cleaners out there when things are right and waxed and happy... When it dodn't dent the issues I had on this transom I knew I was gonna have to roll up the sleeves and get down right mean...
