I have a 24ft CC and have garmin 3205. Love it. I don't have a radar though. The plotter is outstanding and the sonar is okay. I have a regular fishfinder so I don't use the garmin fishfinder much. I mainly bought it for the plotter function.
The other thing is that the connections to the equipment get soldered into the main port jack. It is nice where everything is in one place, but it was a little frustrating for me. I'm not to good with the solder gun, and some of the wires are rather thin.
It is a great unit and right now I wouldn't trade it for anything.
I have the Garmin 3010 with the sounder and XM weather. I love the system. I went with a Furuno Model 1942 64 mile open array with green CRT. Garmin did not have the radar when I bought my plotter, but I think I would have still gone with the Furuno. I like having independence of major nav equipment instead of a one box does all design.
I have not heard much about the Garmin radar...good or bad. A dock mate of mine installed the Garmin complete package this winter but does not have any operational time on it yet.
