Question Garmin antenna problems for gps and xm weather

well here is my problems... had a new roof skin put on by a well known outfit here in NJ.... problem is the guy they had come in to remove all my antennas and light off the roof before they installed the skin went ahead and cut all the wires/cables to the garmin unit and VHF, THEN pulled them through the t-roof pipes....

can these wires be spliced effectively... or will unit not work proper ????

also i am preparing for the worst by searching for new antennas for the garmin 3210 and have had NO luck finding any instock anywhere.... any ideas ????

free... those antennas for the 3210 should be the same for most of the later model units. The newer stuff uses a nmea2000 antenna, but in a pinch, you can use a rs125 antenna from raymarine, or even a furuno bbwx antenna.

You cna cut and splice the antenna lines, but usualy you would just cut the connector off the end, and pull it through the pipe.

Give me a call, I'm in SNJ if you need help.
