Question garmin 4208-10??

Does anyone own or use this unit? I am about to buy a new setup and really like what I've seen so far. Any problems ? easy to use? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have a 5212 on my boat. Same as the 42xx except touch screen. The unit is outstanding. Super bright screen, many easy to use features and a pretty damn good FF and Radar. The XM weather is awesome too. We have installed far more Garmin units this year than any of the other major brands combined. As far as I know all those customers are still happy with their choice.

I do and love it

Just put it in this past weekend. Very user friendly; like all Garmins are, and a very sharp, bright picture. I bought the airmar P66 transducer and the GSD-22 to add to this unit. Well, I say I love it,,, hell I haven't even been on the water since I've put it in,,, but that will change this weekend....

Garmin makes really nice and user friendly products, problem is their tech support is absolutely clueless and what you buy this year is obsolete next year. Maybe they took B.Gates idea to keep the sales up..??

Garmin products have really been outstanding over the last couple of years. I have several friends who have there newer touch screens and love them. If I upgrade my older Furuno it will be with either a Garmin or Raymarine.

The verdict is in..

I can not say enough about my 4208!!!! It is simply amazing!!! I love all the options and with the G2 SD card this thing will do everything but reel the fish in for you. Very accurate and the sonar is pretty damn good as well. All in all I give it a 10... I love it man,,, either one you get you'll love. The 4210 has the number keys I believe. That would really come in handy when you are putting in a lot of waypoints... other then that,,, I think it's the same as the 4208. It did take me awhile to put in all my waypoints and the number keys would have reduced the time in half. But I don't ever see myself putting in over 100 waypoints at one time again.... I love this unit and HIGHLY recommend it to anyone. I shopped around and got mine for 1,689.00
That was the lowest I seen it in the 3 weeks of researching this unit.
